The Board of Directors of The Dr. Ronald E. McNair Educational (D.R.E.M.E.) Science Literacy Foundation continues to honor and celebrate the legacies of the fallen Challenger astronauts and their commitment to help America’s youth develop their skills in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), by marking the 25th anniversary of their loss with a commemoration and raising awareness of the D.R.E.M.E. Science Literacy Foundation STEM education programs. The evening’s featured guests are some of NASA’s most noted figures and local media celebrities. The event is a reflection of service to America’s youth by Dr. McNair and the Challenger 51L astronauts, and carried on through the D.R.E.M.E. Science Literacy Foundation.
