It includes a Summer Science Youth Academy, which presents a learning environment that inspires students to become familiar, excited, and creative in our STEM theme areas.  This program will provide a motivating and empowering learning experience designed to enrich learning through exciting digital imagery, hands-on experiments and activities that foster critical thinking and innovation. The importance of STEM studies will be presented and students will be exposed to various STEM careers via field trips and STEM mentors, including career readiness etiquette and enhanced job seeking skills through mock job interviews, dress etiquette, enhanced writing and essay contents.  Furthermore, the program is designed for all youth, particularly the undeserved students to continually develop skills in problem solving, teamwork, and communication. Additionally, it introduces career paths for youths to seek in the science, technology, engineering, and math related fields. This program continues Dr. Ronald McNair’s vision of motivating, supporting, and strengthening the learning of (STEM) subjects and their importance in our life.
