SCIENCE EDUCATION PROGRESSION

The DREME Science Literacy Foundation plans a science education progression that can have a profound impact on students. It can spark a student's interest in science, math, and technology, through innovative mentor and support programs. These programs which start in elementary school and continue throughout high school and college can ultimately lead to a career in science, technology, engineering or math.

Schools/Grade Levels

Elementary/Middle School (Grades 5-8) DREME Summer Camp (Participants)

High School (Grades 9-11) DREME Summer Camp Teacher Assistant, (Volunteer)

High School (Grade 12) DREME Summer Academy Teacher Assistants, (Paid) (Entering 12th grade student)

High School DREME Scholarship Award of $500-$1000 for graduating (Grade 12) college bound seniors

 

College (Fresh.-Sen.yrs.) DREME/Corporate Scholarship Award of $1,000 every year the student continues college with a science major (2.5 GPA minimum required)

College (Soph.- Sen. yrs.) DREME. Corp. Partner/Associate Summer Internship

College (Entering Senior DREME Teacher Workshop Attendee and Summer Camp Teacher (Education or Science major required)

College Employment by DREME Corporate Associate, sponsor (Graduate) of past summer internship for student, or other similar corporation
